The default temperature for the hot tub is set at 37 degrees. Once plugged in to a household power socket the hot tub will enter auto mode and heat up. It takes approximately 8-12 hours to heat from cold depending on the ambient air temperature. The heat, pump and auto lights should all be on.
Each day you will need to check the pH level of the water. The optimum pH level is between 7.2 and 7.8.
Dip a test strip it into the water and compare to the diagram on the back of the pack.
To decrease pH add one white container of pH minus to the hot tub. Ensure the jets are on in the tub so the solution is evenly distributed through the entire volume of water.
After 5 minutes turn the jets off and use the test strips to check the pH level again. Repeat until you are within the 7.2 to 7.8 range. To increase pH use pH plus.
It is important that the pH. is kept at the correct level to ensure the bromine in the float (see below) can work efficiently.
After the first 24 hours add a further new bromine tablet to the float every 24 hours or more often if they are dissolving more quickly.
Please keep the tub water level to half way up the black cylinder floating weir.
When you use the hot tub remove the bromine tablet float and put it back in the tub when you get out.
Do not put chemicals into the water when people are in the tub.
Please keep all unused chemicals dry and out of reach of children.
We have also included a stronger treatment marked Shock which can be added to the water if it looks cloudy or at least every evening after everyone has finished using the hot tub. The tub should not be used by anyone for at least an hour afterwards.
The hot tub is fitted with a 2 speed pump as standard which means you can speed up the water jets.
To put the pump into manual mode (low speed), press the pump button once.
Push a second time to put the pump into high speed mode.
To ensure the tub retains its temperature please return to auto mode when not in use (indicated by the red light).
On the topside of the tub there is also a black dial. It will introduce air into the water flowing through the jets, increasing the pressure and massage effect. To operate simply twist the dial into the on position. Ensure it is turned off when not in use.
It is very important to maintain the cleanliness of the water for an enjoyable hire so we recommend that you:
Add chemicals as instructed above.
Shower before entering the hot tub.
Wipe your feet before re-entering the hot tub.
Keep the thermal cover on when not in use.
Do not allow young children to play in the hot tub unsupervised.
Do not use fake tan, deodorants or hair products before using the hot tub.
Do not use glass of any description in the hot tub.
Do not let pets in or near the hot tub.
If you have any questions about any of the above please do not hesitate to call us on 01932 943 003
